Our First Garden
Sweet Sweet and I (mainly Sweet Sweet) decided that we wanted a garden. We decided to do a raised bed garden, and we purchased the railroad ties and Justin F. helped us lay them down. The next weekend I bought organic matter (i.e., poop) and we were on our way. By the way, the organic matter smelled for at least a week, I’m sure our neighbors loved us. And I apologize for the black and white pictures. I didn’t realize it was B/W mode until the last 2 pictures.
First was clearing out all of the weeds in the space for the garden.

Weeds cleaned out.
Laid down a breathable fabric to keep out weeds.
Sweet Sweet and I will keep you guys posted of how the garden progresses. Right now, we’ve planted broccoli and onions.
Elam’s First Birthday
